Obituary for William Hampton Jr.
William Hampton, Jr. age 40 was born October 23,1977 in Rome,Georgia he passed away on August 15, 2018 of a tragic accident. He was a lifelong resident of Jacksonville, FL.
He attended Gregory Drive Elementary, J.B. Stilwell Middle School and FCCJ. Spending most of his life in the Jacksonville Heights West area before moving to the Spring Park area where he resided over the last 11 years. William was a Auto Diesel Mechanic and also talented in Home Remodel and Repairs. In his lifetime William worked for R & R Used Parts, Dividing Lines Fence Inc, Robert’s Diesel Service and MD Towing. He also was Owner/Operator of Will Hampton Towing.
William loved his son, his family and was a talented BarBQ'er, loved the beach, fishing and his cats.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Hampton, Sr. of Ft. Payne, Alabama; grandfather, Denny C. Conway, Live Oak, Florida; sister, Brandi Michelle Swisstack, Middleburg, Florida.
William leaves to cherish his memories: son, William Christopher Hampton, Jacksonville, FL; parents, JL and Cyndi Williams, Middleburg, FL; brother, Joshua (Alicia) Williams, Jacksonville, Fl; grandmother, Linda Conway, Live Oak, FL; 11 year life partner, Ivy McCammon and mother in law, Rebecca Bouchard.
William came from a large family and is survived by 14 Aunts and Uncles, 23 cousins, 2 Nephews, 1 niece and a host of special friends with special mention to, Thomas D. Riner (cousin); Ronald Kelley, Dave Jenkins, Howard McClendon and Ray Taylor.
A Memorial Service will be held September 1st, 2018 at 1PM at Grace Baptist Church Of Baldwin, FL 32234 with Rev. Jeffery Nuckols officiating.
A Memorial/ Life Celebration/41 st Birthday Bar'BQ will be held October 21, 2018 at the Huguenot Memorial Park (North Jetties) for family and friends @ 11AM. Weather Permitting.
