“William “Bill” Olden Rankine, Sr., 71, passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2019 in Jacksonville, Florida. A native Floridian, he was born on July 16, 1947 to Thomas and Violet Rankine in Miami, Florida. Upon graduation from Miami-Dade Junior College, he went on to serve in the U.S. Marines and then continued to earn his Bachelor and Master’s degrees in Business Administration at the University of Miami. On August 13, 1988 he married Carol Ann Hamilton in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Bill enjoyed fishing, lobstering, grilling, and generally anything outdoors.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Carol Ann; his children, Kimberly, Karie, William Jr., Joseph, and Amelia; and 6 grandchildren; as well as other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers.

Bill’s ashes will be interred at the Jacksonville National Cemetery.
