Obituary for Norma Jean Peters

Obituary
The world has lost a beloved mother, wife, and friend. Norma Jean Peters, (Meloche), passed away
peacefully in her sleep on September 21, 2021, just four days shy of her 80th birthday. Norma was born
in Detroit Michigan on September 25th, 1941, she is the daughter of Anna Jean (O’Grady) and Norman
Joseph Meloche. Norma was happily married for over 50 years to her husband Richard (Dick) Peters
where they lived in Michigan for most of their lives. Dick and Norma moved from Lake Orion Michigan to
St. Augustine Florida later in life, when not long after the move Dick passed suddenly in his sleep.
Norma would want to be remembered for her constant support of her family and grandchildren. She
had a fiery disposition and always a kind word, no matter what your challenges in life were, she would
find the positive. She was a driven mother and friend to many who had a battery pack that never ran
down. When speaking with her you needed to listen closely because she was a very fast talker. She will
be missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her with Norma touching many lives in her 80
years on this earth with her passing affecting all those who came to know and love her.
Norma is survived by her sons Robert (Leslie), David (Deb) and Jimmy (Joanie), and her daughter Mary
Beth (Kevin), (Robinson). She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Ashleigh Alcalde, (Ernesto),
Chelseigh, Andrew, and Jacob, great-grandchildren Kairi Lytle and Maisie Hana Hazlitt, Farah Robin
