Obituary for Kay Louis Dilker

Kay Louis Dilker, previously of Lakeview and Holland, New York, while spending his last years in Jacksonville, Florida passed at age 84 on Saturday, June 15th, 2019.

Born on May 20, 1935, to parents Byron H. Dilker and Ethel M. Fiscus-Dilker in Meadville Pennsylvania, Kay lived out his childhood in Sugar Grove, Pennsylvania. Kay worked as a tool and die maker at the Ford Stamping Plant in Woodlawn, New York for 30 years retiring in 1994. He was a former volunteer firefighter in Lakeview, New York as well as a Mason and a member of the Mount Vernon Lodge in Java, New York.

Kay is preceded in death by Laura K. Jones Dilker: his loving wife of 56 years, as well as two brothers (Charles and Dennis Dilker) and two sisters (Suzanne Dilker Grey and Jeannie Dilker O’Schell). He is survived by sons Rodney, Thomas, and Edwin Dilker as well as his daughter Laurie Dilker Rooney. He is also survived by two brothers (Douglas and Byron Dilker) and sister (Sally Dilker), ten Grandchildren and thirteen Great- Grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at a later date at The Wesleyan Cemetery in Sugar Grove, Pennslyvania.

Kay was blessed with a full and fortunate life and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
