Obituary

Mr. Donald James Hopkins was born September 24, 1951 to the late Willie James Hopkins and Mrs. Lessie Mae Hopkins. A native of Jacksonville, Florida, where he received his early education in the local public schools of Duval County. He was a member of United Missionary Baptist Church, currently under the leadership of Pastor M. J. Halyard.

Mr. Hopkins departed this life September 25, 2019.

Mr. Hopkins leaves to cherish his memories a son, William Paul Cooper (Melissa); daughter, Latoya Michelle Hall; grandson, Jhamal Cooper; brother, Paul Hopkins; sisters, Annie Hopkins, Loretta Hopkins and Ellenor Hopkins; a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, including his special friend, Lamika Batts.
